The French Maternal School (FMS) is a small, independent nursery school serving the French, international and diplomatic communities of the Washington, D.C. area. It offers French immersion programs for children ages 2 to 6 (nursery, pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten) and educates them to reach a high level of academic performance in a nurturing environment. The FMS program follows the French National Curriculum and is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Loubna Drissi holds the Elementary School Teacher Diploma from the Ministry of National Education as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Casablanca in Morocco. She also obtained the US Child Development Associate Credential.

Farrah Khiter graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from the Université de Paris 8.

Olivia Jacquot holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood from the University of Nancy.

Sofia Fahmi graduated from EFAP with a Masters in Communication.

Nadia Harper graduated from the French Baccalaureate and attended two years of Commercial Studies at l’IPSA Institute in Paris.
Marie Jeanne Pesme
Marie Jeanne Pesme holds the US Child Development Associate credential, has a degree in pediatric nursing, and also holds the French Early Childhood Professional Certificate.
Caroline Rossignol
Caroline Rossignol holds an Early Childhood Montessori Diploma as well as a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from Paris Dauphine.
Thérèse Taiclet
Thérèse Taiclet received a High School diploma and specialized in Administration and Accounting.
