We currently have a full-time ASSISTANT TEACHER position OPEN as well as an AFTERCARE AIDE position open. All applicants must be French native speakers and be at least 18 years old.

Working at FMS

FMS’s talented and dedicated teachers and staff create a dynamic and supportive learning environment for students and families. Minimal qualifications for ASSISTANT TEACHER position:

  • High School degree completed.
  • A strong commitment to educating young children in a linguistically diverse community.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in French and basic communication skills in English.
  • Dedication to professional growth and learning.
  • Willingness to follow and embrace the school’s program and philosophy.

Work Hours: 8:15am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in early childhood education or primary/elementary education; or teaching degree; or B.A. in another relevant field with an early childhood focus. French qualifications equivalent of License or Master en Education.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
